Meet the Dentists providing indepedent services at Bathurst Dental Care

Dr Charles Wong BOHDS

GDipDent

Charles was born in Melbourne and completed primary and secondary schooling in Camberwell. He then went on to complete his Bachelors and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.

Charles enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and his goal is to make dental care comfortable, gentle and enjoyable. He has a keen interest in continuing professional education and frequently travels interstate and overseas for the latest courses. His special interest is in root canal treatment, crown and bridge work and also dental implants.

Outside of work Charles enjoys dining out with friends, he also follows Manchester United in the English Premier League.

Dr. Jun Han Yoon

Dentist

Dr. Jun Han Yoon grew up in Sydney, NSW where he initially completed his Bachelor of Medical Science at USYD and continued his tertiary education in Western Australia where he received First Class Honours at UWA. He has worked as a medical researcher prior to deciding on a career change to dentistry, which would allow him a greater opportunity to indulge his meticulous nature. Dr Jun Completed Master of Dentistry in Gold Coast, in which he achieved the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence.

Dr Jun always strives to renew his patient’s faith in dentists by providing a gentle and understanding approach to every procedure. Through his analogies, he ensures to simplify the confusion of ‘dental language’ so that every patient may understand their treatment before progressing.

Dr Jun enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, although he has a passion for aesthetic dentistry (crowns, veneers, teeth alignment), he also has a special interest in oral surgery (wisdom tooth removal) and implantology.

Dr Jun also understands that healthcare is rapidly changing and he prides himself on continuing to personally develop through educational courses to further his knowledge and provide patients with the gold standard of dentistry. Dr Jun is a certified Invisalign provider and has completed two year comprehensive orthodontic training with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. In addition, he is currently completing his postgraduate training in Masters of Implantology at Goethe University located in Frankfurt, Germany.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Jun likes to maintain an active lifestyle by training at his local gym daily and playing tennis and golf.

Dr Lap Ip

Dentist

Dr Lap Ip is a caring, amiable and gentle dentist who makes his patients’ health and wellbeing his #1 priority. He is dedicated in providing safe and up-to-date dentistry through continuous participation in professional development courses held by esteemed institutions. With extensive experience in the private (NSW), public (QLD, VIC) and volunteering (Cherbourg, QLD) sector, Dr Lap understands that the ‘perfect’ treatment stems from a comprehensive plan which takes into consideration patient’s medical, social and financial circumstances. This is coupled with adequate management of patient’s individual expectation.

Dr Lap is competent in all aspects of general dentistry with specific interest in oral surgery, crown and bridge work and root canal therapy.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Lap enjoys the outdoors. He likes running, cycling and going to the gym. He is also a foodie, who likes to try-out different cuisines and eateries.

Dr Renita Tin

Dentist

Dr Renita Tin grew up in Sydney and completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Masters of Dentistry at La Trobe University. She has extensive experience working in private practice across metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Dr Renita understands that seeing a dentist can be a nervous and scary experience for some patients. She is always gentle and friendly in her approach, and is committed to providing excellent dental service to ensure her patients are always comfortable in her care. Dr Renita enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in oral surgery, crown and bridge work and restorative dentistry. She takes her time to understand each of her patient’s needs and concerns, and delivers individualised treatment plans to achieve best results.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Renita loves being active, you can find her going for walks and hikes around Bathurst.

Dr Josh Chin

Dentist

Joshua was born in Sydney where he completed his higher school certificate and a semester of Electrical Engineering at the University of New South Wales. He then moved to Brisbane in 2018 to study Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons) at the University of Queensland, where he graduated with first class honours. Joshua gained experience in Brisbane and Rockhampton before moving to Bathurst.

Joshua is a friendly and approachable dentist and strives to provide gentle and high-quality care to meet the needs of his patients. He works well with anxious patients of all ages and loves working especially with children, aiming to make dental treatment accessible to everyone. The general health and oral health related quality of life of his patients is always his highest priority.
To ensure all patients get the best possible treatment, Joshua regularly attends further education for his professional development.

In his spare time, Joshua travels frequently to visit his family and close friends. He loves piano music and motorsports.
